Intimate Gestures
Intimate gestures, like hugs and kisses, can express closeness and tenderness. They are often a reflection of the intimacy shared between people.
At the same time, such gestures can evoke ambivalent feelings—depending on the experiences we’ve had with allowing physical and emotional closeness. With this series of images, I aimed to explore both desire and the ambivalence that can be part of intimate gestures. I exhibited these works in café walter in cologne.
