About

I create with a curious mind and a love for seeing the world in detail

I’m a Black queer illustrator, storyteller, and people-watcher. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to faces—how they move, shift, express—and the stories they carry. My work is shaped by curiosity & intuition, so I’m looking for projects where I can contribute not just a service, but a perspective.

I enjoy capturing people in real time—honoring their presence with lines and colors. Now, I’m excited to expand into new fields like book covers, editorial illustration, and team portraits. I bring not only a trained eye, but a deep interest in the emotional layers of what I draw. My professional background in anti-oppression work shapes how I see—and how I illustrate. Therefore I enjoy working with clients who are open to a process shaped by curiosity and creative flow. My illustrations thrive in collaborations that allow space for experimentation and storytelling.

I love working with watercolor, colored pencils, pastels, and graphite. My style is sketchy, expressive, and open to experimentation. I’m drawn to projects that allow space for storytelling, for intuition, and for voices that are often underrepresented—especially queer and anti-racist narratives. And I enjoy working with clients who are open to a process shaped by curiosity and creative flow.

If you’re looking for illustration that is personal, honest, and created with care—I’d love to hear from you. I am fluent in German and quite ok in written english and french.

You can find more of my work on instagram and therumpus.
